I was born and raised in Cuba and it's been about 15 years since I've made the US my home. This has forever allowed me to have a different perspective on life and a curious interest for different cultures. From an early age I knew art was my passion and practiced it in the form of theater, acting, singing and dancing. Shortly after high school in 2004, I made the final decision to pursue a career doing Character Art for games or film. After attending art school and putting in many years of practice and studying, i was able to start getting jobs in 2009. The hard work became a habit and now it is part of who i am. This keeps me fresh and grounded, always knowing there is much to learn and so little time. I am a modern digital artist and there is no doubt about that, but I'm constantly researching and learning about the old masters like Rembrandt and Sargent whose influence can hopefully be seen reflected in my work. When it comes to doing work for a production, I've been able to adapt to any given Art Style, helping the project and making my team look good. My work philosophy is very simple, always keep in mind the goal of the project as a whole, over any personal stubbornness and also to be aware that there are going to be bad days and there going to be good days, but you should always love what you do, If not, why do it at all.
